Allow me to share this very sweet video with you…

Mrs. Freshley’s was kind enough to send me a giant box filled with their products made with Cinnabon Cinnamon. And then I was kind enough to share them with my coworkers, my husband, and my children. Wasn’t that nice of me? Since eating four dozen gorgeous, delicious, cinnamon pastries isn’t exactly conducive to weight loss, I had to share the wealth!  (0But I did have to have one (um, of each)…so that my review could be 100% honest and unbiased and fair and balanced and all that good stuff.)

Come to mama!

I was sent three different types of Mrs. Freshley’s pastries made with Cinnabon Cinnamon – the Cinnamon Honey Bun, the Cinnamon Danish, and the Cinnamon Coffee Cake. Cinnamon is my favorite flavor, so it was really hard to decide which to sample first. My coworker David used to purchase a honey bun from the vending machine downstairs every day, so I knew he would be the perfect person to give a knowledgeable review of the new honey bun.

The words he used to describe the Mrs. Freshley’s Honey Bun made with Cinnabon Cinnamon were fresh, thick, gooey, and aromatic. He said the cinnamon flavor was a nice addition, and not overpowering, and the cinnamon was deliciously apparent as soon as he opened the package. And once he took his first bite, he couldn’t put it down.

My boss took some honey buns home to share with his family and mentioned that 15 seconds in the microwave leads to perfection. He is the father of two teenage boys, so I don’t think his pastries lasted more than a few minutes in his house.

15 seconds to perfection.

My coworker Michael could have been a tough sell on these pastries, as he owns a coffee shop. But he was won over by the cinnamon coffee cake. He liked that they were thick, with a generous amount of frosting. And that they were sweet, but not overpoweringly so, was a point in their favor.

I made Robert and Sean fight over the last honeybun.

Robert declared it was “the best darn honeybun on the market.”

Sean just said “mmm” a lot.

I took home a few samples of each pastry for the boys to try, and their overwhelming favorite was the cinnamon danish. The thick layer of cinnamon in the middle won them over. They are clearly my children, as the intense cinnamon flavor of this pastry was my favorite as well. The more cinnamon, the better, in my book! And you know Cinnabon knows their cinnamon.

Mrs. Freshley’s was kind enough to send me these pastries, but I was not compensated for this post, and all opionions are 100% mine (and my coworkers’!)
