A few weeks ago, I got an iPhone. And one of the reasons I got an iPhone was the camera. (You may have heard, I’m a bit of a photography enthusiast.) Around the time I got my iPhone, I learned about GrooveBook.
Let me back up a little. I have boxes and boxes of prints from high school, college, London, and just everyday life. Up until about, say, 2004, when George bought a digital camera. Since then, I’ve rarely had prints made. A few photo books here and there, and certainly some enlargements of the boys for framing, but no more envelopes of 4x6s to stick in my purse. I can’t say I really missed them, but sometimes (especially with the boys), it’s nice to have physical prints to show off or to give away.
Enter the GrooveBook. A book of your photos from your iPhone or iPad, printed and sent to you for only $2.99! You get one book monthly, and can put up to 100 of your photos in it. And the prints are perforated so if you want to give a print to someone, or put one on your corkboard at work or whatever, you can do that easily, without destroying the rest of the book.

Pretty cool – it prints the date and location of the photo on the perforated part. Also, I’m glad I painted my fingernails last night.
Here’s how it works…
It’s very simple:
· Upload up to 100 photos a month from your phone
· Receive a keepsake photo book of your photos in about 7 days (just $2.99 shipping & processing)
· The books are made with quality photo-paper and perforated edges so that you can use the photos however you please
Now, I’m not going to say the quality of the prints is what you’d get from a pro lab after shooting on a DSLR, but it’s better than I expected. Obviously we’re working with a camera phone here, but all things considered, I was pleased.
If you want to try this, GrooveBook will send you a book for free by using the code PyjammysGroove. Download the app here: GrooveBook app
(and sorry, Android users, it’s only for iPhone and iPad right now. See why I got an iPhone?)
All opinions are my own. GrooveBook sent me a sample book with my photos for free, but I was not compensated for this post. I only review products I think are cool or useful or fun. This is all three.
